CISA urges users to remain alert to malicious cyber activity after natural disasters, such as hurricanes, as attackers target disaster victims and concerned citizens, using social engineering tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs).

CISA encourages users to review the following resources to avoid becoming victims of malicious cyber activity:

• Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Stay Alert to Disaster-Related Scams and Before Donating to a Charity Organization
• Consumer Financial Protection Office (CFPB) Fraud and Scams
• CISA Be Careful with Email Attachments and Avoid Social Engineering and Impersonation Attacks

A special call is made to the population to donate blood at the Medical Center Blood Bank, in order to keep supplies at an optimal level to be prepared for any emergency.
